Clean treats have long interested me – all the yum factor without the preservatives and additives. But are these worth the effort?
I whipped these babies up from scratch, and boy! Might have added a touch too much cacoa powder in the first batch, but with a bit of refinement, I found these to be super yummy! Recipe below – Let me know if you give them a try and what you think!

Recipe – Cocont, Cashew date balls
Raw Honey 1tbsp
Raw Cacao Powder 2.5 tbsp
Coconut flour 0.25 cup
Dates 8 pitted and soaked for 2 or more hours
Coconut oil 2 tbsp
Raw cashews 0.5 cup
Water as/if needed
18-20 servings, roughly 70 calories per ball
Add cashews and coconut flour to your food processor and blitz until nuts have broken down.
Take out 2 tablespoons and add these to a separate bowl (you will use this to coat your finished treats!)
Add the rest of the ingredients to the food processor and blitz until it’s the consistency of cake batter. Slowly add a little water if the mixture needs it.
Roll into balls and coat with your nut/coconut mixture.
Set in the fridge.
